Founded in 2018 by Nitin Sachdeva and Megha, SWISNI was born out of a passion to showcase the rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship to the world. The journey began with a spark of inspiration, when Nitin noticed a beautiful, hand-crafted Banjara bag sold locally for a fraction of its true artistic value abroad. Determined to bridge this gap and empower local talent, he crafted a single, exquisite sample bag and shared it on Instagram. The world noticed—leading to a monumental first order of 3,000 bags from the UK. Today, SWISNI stands as a global exporter and a trusted name in luxury hand-embroidered clutches and potlis, proudly supporting a dedicated community of local artisans who weave heritage and modern elegance into every stitch.
